Clair loves a bargain from a charity shop and she enjoys socialising at her local club and entering competitions. She is very good at crosswords and other quizzes and is an expert on the 80’s era.
Clair has Asperger’s and can find the world a little confusing at times. She has spent long periods in institutional care and is still getting used to having her own home. She has an experienced support team around her but a vacancy has just opened up for a Senior Support Worker.
Contract hours: 22.5h per week
Clair is looking for someone who has some life experience and a mature outlook on life. Ideally you will have some previous experience in a leadership capacity or an experienced support worker and someone who is keen on learning and developing your skills. This is an established team with experienced team members, you will have the opportunity to do some shadow shifts and we offer a comprehensive induction with ongoing personal and professional development training.
As the Senior Support Worker you will be responsible to work along side with the Team Leader and with the rest of the team to support Clair to live her best life. She has a lot of potential and just needs positivity to achieve her dreams and aspirations. Your Senior Support Worker duties will include working shifts and step up when the Team Leader is away helping in his tasks.
