As a Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance, encouragement, and assistance to empower Lewis to overcome challenges and achieve personal growth. Your responsibilities will include leading a team of support staff, coordinating activities, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment in his family home .

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with autism and a strong understanding of the complexities of providing personal care. You must possess excellent communication skills, empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a difference in someone's life.

Supporting in the family home will bring some challenges and you will need to be a good manager of relationships and a pendulum to keep the team stable along with the family. Lewis is a TV fan, especially soaps and other shows like mastermind. Being a bubbly, positive, outgoing and confident person will be the spice we need to make up an amazing team leader and a great team around Lewis.

It will be part of your role to manage the team's rotas, support & supervisions, develop a trustful relationship with Lewis and the family, having always his best interest at heart.

Essential for this job:

Must hold a full UK driving licence and have the ability to drive

Good Computer Skills

Good experience of leadership

• Good understanding and experience within the autism spectrum
