Are you ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young individuals? Sportfit is on the lookout for dedicated Support Workers to join our welcoming team in Weymouth. We need individuals who can serve as positive adult role models for the young people we support, and who have the right to work full-time in the UK without requiring sponsorship.

As a Support Worker, you'll be instrumental in providing a safe, nurturing environment where our young people can thrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the smooth operation of the home, from managing household tasks to handling finances
  • Creating a secure environment where our youngsters can receive guidance, support, and advice to enhance their social, emotional, and physical well-being
  • Being a reliable presence in their lives, offering guidance and assistance in navigating challenges

This role follows a fixed two-week rolling pattern, encompassing long day shifts, sleep-ins, and weekends, with an average of 42.5 hours per week and 3 sleep-ins.

We're looking for individuals who have:

  • Ideally, a Level 4 Diploma or equivalent qualification; however, training opportunities will be provided
  • Experience in supporting vulnerable young people in supported accommodation settings or similar youth work environments
  • A compassionate and resilient attitude, dedicated to serving as a positive role model and adept at managing challenging behaviours
  • Flexibility to work a varied rota, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and sleep-ins
  • Right to work full-time in the UK without requiring sponsorship
