The ideal candidate

You'll have:

  • At least 5 years' experience of working with children and young people

  • At least 1 year's experience in a senior managerial position

  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations and experience in managing Ofsted inspections.

  • Level 5 NVQ/Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent), and a good standard of tertiary education

  • A full UK driving licence

  • The ability to identify the needs of young people

  • An understanding of the importance of safeguarding young people
