About Juventas

At Juventas we empower everyone to be happy – from our dedicated team to our amazing young people.

We specialise in providing residential care to young people aged 10-18 years in Cambridgeshire and Norfolk. In addition, we provide floating support to unaccompanied asylum-seeking minors aged 16-18 years.

We’re passionate about providing positive experiences, a safe loving home and opportunities for development in every aspect of a young person’s life. We listen and actively involve children and young people in decision-making and planning ahead, supporting them to be the best they can be.

‘I’m learning a lot every day, even about myself. I reflect quite a lot now, especially about my body language and how my emotions might affect someone else, especially a new child in care. The job is definitely challenging but it’s also really rewarding.’ – RSW, Chatteris

Why join our care team?

Juventas is a sanctuary for the young people we look after. Our children often have social, emotional and complex needs and we offer them a home in which they can feel appreciated, acknowledged and safe. We’re focused on delivering high-quality services to vulnerable children and young people, and to make this happen we need amazing people in our team who want to make a lasting difference in young people’s lives.

As well as a meaningful career with opportunities for progression, we offer a competitive salary and additional training to support your growth. Our employee benefits include Perkbox (lots of retail discounts and great for cinema tickets), Medicash benefits (including financial help with health-related costs like paying for your contact lenses or visiting the dentist), critical illness and life cover and sick leave.

Residential Services

Juventas provides 24/7 residential care in a positive and welcoming environment that enables children from all backgrounds to grow and thrive. We believe that all children should have the highest standards of care, which is why we provide a therapeutic approach to sustain long-term relationships and provide stability in the lives of vulnerable children and young people. All adults working in our homes are given the tools needed to work in a way that is trauma-informed and that focuses on building strong, meaningful and safe attachments.

Floating Support Services

Our Floating Support Service in Norfolk provides safety and stability for unaccompanied young people aged 16-18 who are seeking asylum in the UK. We provide a variety of accommodations so that these young people can gain life skills and independence as they approach adulthood in a different cultural environment. The service works closely with education providers, health and the local authority to ensure that young people have as much support as possible to help them settle in the UK.
