The Role:

Next Steps Nursing Home is looking for an enthusiastic and highly-motivated Male RMN Nurse for permanent night shifts with proven Nursing experience as a Charge Nurse, to assist in the running of our Nursing Home based in Bolton. The post holder will have a key responsibility for the quality of nursing assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation, Routine weekly auditing and ensure that at all times people we support receive an excellent standard of care.

Candidates should be confident communicators with excellent clinical and interpersonal skills, demonstrating flexibility, innovation, and a strong motivation for quality improvement. Proficiency in IT and the ability to use electronic care systems effectively are essential.

Candidate requirements:

• A Registered RMN Nurse with a valid NMC PIN
• Experience in Mental Health Nursing
• Must have previous experience working in a social care setting, supporting individuals with diverse and complex needs.
• Knowledge of CQC regulation and recent updates and changes
• Knowledge of Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding
• Being adaptable and able to work as part of a team AND being able to lead a small team of 1-2 staff effectively.
• Being fully confident and competent using a computer and associated handheld technology
• Awareness of care plans and managing risk assessments and being able to administer them in a timely manner

Next Steps provides care and treatment for adults, aged 18-65 years, suffering from a wide range of mental health disorders. We are part of Tristone Healthcare and provide gender specific services within Greater Manchester.

Next Steps offers mental health support and rehabilitation services in communities across North, Central, and South Manchester, as well as Bolton. Our priority is ensuring our residents are looked after using the needs-specific "right care in the right area" model of community inclusion. we serve people with enduring mental health needs. Next Steps currently offers small services (average 6 beds) over six locations, with two new services currently being commissioned. ​
