Are you looking for a varied and dynamic role where you can make a real impact? As our Finance Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the Finance Manager while also providing valuable assistance to the Senior Management Team and the wider business. While finance and accounts will be your primary focus, you'll also have the opportunity to get involved in key areas such as property management, health & safety, placements, and general administration-keeping every day interesting and diverse.

This is a full-time, office-based role (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) at our Head Office in Horsham St. Faiths, Norwich. If you're highly organised, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to multiple areas of the business, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Tasks:

  • Assist the Finance Manager with monthly accounts
  • Management of invoices and produce sales invoices
  • Produce finance reports
  • Assist in preparation of payroll information
  • Complete monthly and weekly KPI's
  • Update current placement records
  • Assist the Finance Manager to develop new accounting process/controls and system implementation in accordance with management briefings
  • Process expenses sheets and invoices
  • Track dates for property Health & Safety documents and organise external contractors
  • Track MOT and tax dates for company cars
  • Organise company equipment for staff
  • Order items for the services
  • Manage SharePoint access permissions
  • Monitor stationery levels and order office supplies
  • Maintain computer and manual filing systems
  • Maintain the document archive
  • Provide information to internal colleagues or external enquirers
  • Handling sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Coordinate office procedures
  • Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
  • Resolve administrative problems
  • Answering telephone calls and passing on messages
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, typing, copying, scanning etc.
