This flexible contract is ideal for those seeking meaningful work that fits around other commitments. You'll work 32 hours per month, including 2 sleep-in shifts, supporting young people in a safe, nurturing environment.

Your Role

This is more than a job - it's a chance to make a lasting impact. You'll be:

  • Supporting young people in supported accommodation, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Delivering tailored care packages that promote personal growth and independence.
  • Teaching essential life skills such as budgeting, cooking, and household management.
  • Building trusting relationships and helping young people develop self-control and direction.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals.
  • Recording daily notes and contributing to care planning.

What We're Looking For

You're not just a support worker - you're a mentor and a role model. We're looking for someone who:

  • Communicates clearly and compassionately, both verbally and in writing.
  • Understands the challenges faced by young people and responds with empathy.
  • Is flexible and reliable, with availability for varied shifts including evenings and weekends.
  • Has experience in outreach or care settings (preferred).
  • Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to transport.
