Beyond Limits is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Education Support Lead to provide tailored care, support, and education for two young adults with autism in their family home. This role involves not only leading a small team of support assistants but also delivering direct support. Working alongside specialist teachers, family and other professionals, you will lead a small team but also work in collaboration with the wider people involved in their lives.
Contract Hours: Full time with Sleepovers (£70 per night)

The role:
As an Education Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring and delivering personalised care and education. You will oversee the day-to-day support provided by your team and develop strategies to enhance their learning and development. Your experience will be in leadership and development as well as hands on support for people with complex needs.
Your shifts will involve:
- Leading a dedicated team of support assistants and inspiring them to provide exceptional care and support
- Offering hands-on assistance and showcasing best practices in care and education
- Gaining a thorough understanding of the individual Education and Support plans to ensure tailored support
- Creating and implementing engaging teaching activities that promote learning and growth
- Utilising Positive Behaviour Plans to effectively manage and understand challenging behaviours
- Collaborating closely with parents and professionals to enhance learning opportunities and foster a supportive environment
We want to hear from you if you:
- Have professional experience working with young adults with autism and demonstrate a passion for their development
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and have the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Are patient, calm under pressure and committed to continuous learning and improvement
- Hold or are working towards NVQ Level 3 or higher and showcase your dedication to professional development
- Possess a valid UK driving licence and the ability to drive
- Are eager to engage in a training package that includes British Sign Language and Positive Behaviour Support.
- Can work flexibly to accommodate shift patterns
