Sportfit

Sportfit is seeking a motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Supported Accommodation team, working from our Head Office in Southampton. This pivotal role supports the Head of Service in ensuring compliance with the four pillars of Ofsted regulation across our services in Dorset and Hampshire:

  • Leadership and Management Standard
  • Protection Standard
  • Accommodation Standard
  • Support Standard

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operational management of supported accommodation services.
  • Support compliance with Ofsted standards and internal policies.
  • Lead and motivate a diverse team to deliver high-quality care and support.
  • Contribute to safeguarding practices and ensure safe environments for young people.
  • Analyse data and produce reports to inform service improvements.
  • Participate in the on-call rota and provide cover when required.

Essential Requirements:

  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (or currently working towards).
  • Proven experience in people management and service organisation.
  • Strong administrative and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted standards and relevant legislation including:
    • Care Act 2014
    • Mental Capacity Act 2005
  • Proficient in using ICT systems and digital tools.
  • Full UK driver's licence, access to a car, and business insurance.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Dorset and Hampshire.
