You'll need to:
- Lead with CQC registration, ensuring high-quality service 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Ensure residents receive safe, effective, person-centred care.
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and mental health support plans.
- Monitor clinical practices and nursing standards.
- Support positive behaviour management and recovery-focused approaches.
- Ensure safe administration and storage of medication.
- Take charge of service development, ensuring compliance and safety standards are met.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of excellence and trust among residents, relatives, and staff.
- Drive marketing efforts, maintaining competitive pricing and safeguarding resident welfare.
- Keep documents up-to-date, from the Statement of Purpose to risk assessments, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Champion the Mental Capacity Act, guiding staff on decision-making and promptly reporting safeguarding concerns.
- Play a key role in strategic planning and evaluation, shaping the future success of the home.
Requirements:
- Valid NMC PIN
- 3+ years managing experience, ideally in home health
- Expertise in nursing principles and care plan development
- Stellar communication and teamwork skills
- Bonus points for CQC experience
- Proficiency in medication management
