The Role:
Next Steps is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Support Worker to assist in the running of our Nursing Home based in Bolton, Manchester. As a Support Worker, you'll support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives.
This role will give you a tremendous sense of achievement and pride - you'll be making a real difference each and every day.
Job Description:
- Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation
- Ensure that satisfactory recordings are made in relation to all service users, for example, daily recordings, monthly reports, review and care plans.
- Assist service users in their personal care when appropriate.
- Support Service Users to and undertake tasks of a domestic nature, purchasing food, cooking, laundry, house cleaning etc.
- The post holder will be required to attend in service training programs to be aware of and work within the company's policies and procedures, including the regulations of Health and Safety at Work Act.
The ideal candidate:
You'll have:

A UK driving licence, and the ability to reliably commute to the home

An NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (for the right candidate we are willing to offer training pathways to this qualification)
