Job Overview

We are hiring Support Workers to complete Kim's dream team. She is a young lady looking to build a strong team to support and encourage her to reach her full potential in life. If you have a sense of humour and a firm but fair approach, she's looking for you.

We are building a team to support and encourage Kim to reach her full potential in life, to promote her independence and be strong when she needs you too. Kim is looking for females who have a firm but fair approach, are confident in being able to maintain boundaries and remain consistent even during tough times.

Kim needs people are versatile, who she can have a laugh with, have fun with, enjoy her interests with but who can also be direct and honest with her when needed, in a kind manner. Kim will have some difficult days so it is important that you are able to see passed this and remain committed to her. You will need to be self- motivated and able to use initiative, think on your feet.

Kim needs people who can be patient and encouraging in their support of her. Most importantly you must be committed to supporting Kim to develop, achieve and grow, to have the best life she can.

Family is important to Kim so you will need to support and encourage her to maintain healthy relationships with them whilst promoting her independence not to be heavily reliant on them. Kim enjoys playing pool, making models, music and doing creative activities Kim also enjoys DIY such as building furniture and fixing things. Kim will need positive encouragement and support to achieve daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and attending appointments etc.

You should be confident in using technology such as laptops, smart phones, word etc. We offer a full induction with ongoing personal and professional development training. We are an organisation recognised for our complete person centred approach and the difference we make to people's lives.

A DBS check will be requested in the event of the individual being offered a position with Beyond Limits, the cost of which will be to the employee, however, this will be returned after successful completion of probation period (6 months).

Beyond Limits provides bespoke support and assisted living for people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, brain injury, autism and other social and emotional needs. We specialise in working with people who are leaving long-term institutional care settings such as hospital or group residential care and need support to live independently.
