Juventas is looking for a Residential Support Worker to assist in the running of our Registered Children's Home based in Hellesdon, Norfolk

The role

Juventas cares for looked-after children in residential and semi-independent supported accommodation so they can live a positive and meaningful life as they approach adulthood.

We're now looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team.

As Residential Support Worker you'll be:

  • Ensuring that all children and young people have their needs met and are safeguarded from harm, neglect, abuse or exploitation

  • Responding to any childcare concerns appropriately

  • Ensuring that the building, equipment and furniture in the home is well maintained

  • Working effectively and co-ordinating with social workers, parents/guardians and other connected professional agencies

The ideal candidate

You'll have:

  • A UK driving licence, and the ability to reliably commute to the home

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

  • An NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (for the right candidate we are willing to offer training pathways to this qualification)
