Support Worker
Bristol | Permanent | £32,981 per annum (inclusive of both the base salary of £26,741 and £6,240 sleep-in pay)| Shift pattern is 3 shifts per week, plus sleep-ins.

Your Role

- Supporting young people in a safe and nurturing environment, ensuring their welfare is always your top priority.
- Implementing care packages tailored to each individual's needs, building their personal growth and independence.
- Teaching vital life skills, from budgeting to household management, empowering them to take control of their lives.
- Engaging effectively with young people, demonstrating understanding and patience as they develop self-control and direction.
- Collaborating with colleagues and external professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each young person's care.
- Completing daily notes and reporting on your interactions, helping to track progress and plan for the future.
What We're Looking For
You're not just a support worker - you're a mentor and a friend. We're looking for someone who:
- Communicates effectively, both in writing and verbally, to ensure vital information is shared and recorded accurately.
- Understands the complexities of working with young people who may display challenging behaviour, always responding with empathy and respect.
- Is flexible and committed, ready to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Has relevant experience, ideally in a similar outreach or care setting, with a passion for supporting young people.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to reliable transport for travel between locations. This is preferred but not essential.
