Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 'Good' rated children's home in the Norwich area, supporting looked after children with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD). This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an already-established home, working closely with the Regional Manager/RI and a dedicated team to play a key role in continuing the good work we have done, shaping a positive and nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities in brief:

  • Provide strong values-driven leadership to your staff team
  • Ensure that the home meets and exceeds the Children's Home Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
  • Create a safe and caring environment where children are inspired to achieve
  • Work closely with the Regional Manager/RI to continually drive quality, performance and improvement to the home
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with local authorities, professionals and other stakeholders

About You:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager or a Deputy Manager within a children's residential setting.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted regulations, Children's Home (England) Regs 2015 and Quality Standards
  • A level 5 diploma in leadership and management for residential childcare, or currently working towards, is essential
  • Confident, approachable and inspirational leader
  • A passion for improving the lives of children
