Job Overview

An awesome opportunity to join our busy finance team in our Southampton office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and maintaining accurate records of all purchase ledger transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that the purchase ledger processing is kept up to date. (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, as required)
  • Responsibility for ensuring all clients suppliers have reconciled statements and all invoices are received and posted.
  • Responsible for weekly reconciliation of young people budget
  • Loading all invoices on Auto Entry daily
  • Posting invoices to SAGE
  • Ensuring all invoices are authorised for payment.
  • Assisting with invoice discrepancies
  • Administration of utilities for all Sportfit properties
  • Monthly supplier invoice reconciliation on SAGE
  • Filing
  • Answering the phone/emails

We're looking for individuals who have:

  • Experience in accounts payable and reconciliation.
  • A good working knowledge of SAGE
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary, ensuring priorities and deadlines are met.
  • Ability to write and speak with ease
  • Excellent computer literacy skills - able to confidently use Microsoft Excel, SAGE, and Outlook
